Added missing "mkdir -p (DESTDIR)(bindir)", target "distclean", the later might be required by some build/packaging systems e.g. both the Debian's package build frameworks.

I also generalized the rc/init script a bit, making it little nicer for Fedora, Slackware and their derivatives.
